Presenting work dress #1

The other week I was talking to my boyfriend about people I occasionally work with who I do not like very much and have trouble taking seriously, based on a mixture of their attitude, their project output, and, I'll admit, how they are dressed and have decorated their workspace. OK to be really frank, I don't know so much about #2, so I'm basing it primarily on 1, 3, and 4.

Then I looked down and remembered I was wearing a dress covered in scottie dogs. And it occurred to me that this person might at the very same time be sitting at their kitchen table, with their SO, complaining about how they could just NOT take seriously anyone who wore dresses covered with freakin SCOTTIE DOGS to work.

There's a lot going on right now in terms of departmental reorganization, a new boss, etc. Its not that my job's in jeaopardy - I'm pretty damn sure its solid as a rock - but maybe while there's all the shake up and new people, I may lay off the scottie dogs for a bit, and make a few more serious* numbers like this.
