Despite the fact that its been colder in the last month than it had been all winter, Spring is coming!
Despite the fact that my life is a mess, Spring is coming!
This dress is my reminder-to-self that Spring really is coming. I chose the fabric based on its obnoxious brightness. There's a midriff band, which I love, because it means I don't have to find a coordinating belt and a nice V-back, which you can see in the mirror.
It does make me sad, though, that I probably won't get to wear it for 2 months. My friend suggested an alternative solution: try and get assigned to work a meeting (for work) somewhere warm between now and then

What a fabulous dress! May I suggest you came to Paris. We're having an amazing, early Spring, and at this rate we'll be able to wear summer dresses in a month.
