This as yet unfinished dress cost me much, much swearing and frustration. Why? 1) not a printed pattern (my first) and 2) strategic gathers. I even wrote a long post last night with the why and how of it driving me nuts - but then the internet went down, I lost the post, and swore some more. So this is about all I can manage at the moment. Still need to finish the sleeves and add the other waist tie. Also, ignore the blouse the dummy is wearing - I was working on posting some old clothes on ebay earlier in the day! The one big highlight of my weekend as I found a local store that carried remix shoes. I have been eyeing them for years online, but was unwilling to shell out that much for shoes I couldn't inspect personally. Now these are mine! In black. So comfy. Will look cute with my summer dresses and allow me to walk for miles.
