Here's a jacket I made before christmas - its another of those Vogue cardigan jackets, in this amazing Ralph Lauren cashmere/wool blend with a touch of lurex, lined in black silk charmeuse. The lurex isnt particularly sparkly, which I like, and the fabric is amazingly soft.

This is a heavy wool pencil skirt made from fabric from the Vera collection. I'm working on a matching double breasted jacket - my first Burda pattern ever! - and hope to have pictures soon (although i've been working on it since right after christmas, so I'm hesitant to make promises).

This is a first in a series of black dresses. They make great layering pieces with my many, many cardigans and save me having to find a top that matches to go under the cardigan, like when I wear a pencil skirt. This is made of the silk wool twill from the vera collection - not the greatest fabric, and not the greatest dress - the V neck just won't lay flat - but its good enough for layering. I'm almost done the other two and am much happier with them
Finally, here's a home dec project - a throw pillow made out of a vintage scarf and some green silk charmeuse left over from a sewing project. Oscar-Mayer seems to like it.
