Its been awhile. Two weekends ago I made a black pencil skirt out of the same boucle as my little jacket, but it was kind of dull so I didn't bother to post. This past weekend I did the same pattern again - a simplicity pencil skirt with kick pleat, that actually came packaged with the cape jacket, but in this great vintage wool off ebay. Its black with flecks of all these different colors, which I liked because its black, and would match all my colorful sweaters, but at the same time wasn't too boring. The picture at left is the back with the kick pleat (hard to see) and is representative of the fabric. The one on the right gives a better idea of the fit. Please excuse my poor, abused feet - I wore new shoes today, and they left me a little worse for wear. Not to worry - in me vs new shoes, I always win. Eventually.
